The MySAIVA Mobile App employs the following mechanisms to assure information is kept safe:
- Two-factor Authentication: This form of authentication requires two separate, distinct forms of identifications in order to access your SAIVA account. The 2nd factor consists of a One Time Password that is sent to your registered email address.
- Biometric Authentication: This provides an additional security layer at the local device level in addition to the server-level SAIVA account authentication previously described. Using SAIVA on your device requires the presence of biometric authentication (either fingerprint sensor or face recognition) or at a minimum, a PIN code. If not active, the app cannot be used. Biometric authentication is activated whenever the app is first started, when is in the background for more than 5 minutes or after swipe-close. During biometric authentication, the screen is blurred to prevent any information leakage to unauthorized users in case the device is lost or stolen.
- Encrypted Communications: All communications in/out of the app is strong-encrypted using TLS 1.2/1.3 security protocol.
For all these reasons we believe the MySAIVA Mobile App is fully secure to use on either corporate or personal devices. However, please consult with your IT professionals to make sure you are following corporate guidelines for Information Security.
